Dust Circuit
★★★★☆ 4.1
Dust Circuit doesn't pretend to be a simulator, and it's better for it. The cars slide around corners with a loose, forgiving feel, and nailing a long drift through a canyon is pure arcade joy. Controls default to tilt but there's a tap layout that we ended up preferring on a smaller phone.
Every track and car is stored locally, so you can race with the signal off and never notice a difference. The progression is straightforward: win events, unlock upgrades, repeat. It won't reinvent anything, but the moment-to-moment driving is fun enough to keep you coming back.
The soundtrack loops a bit too quickly and the menus feel dated, but on the track none of that matters. For quick bursts of speed offline, it does the job well.
