Tidewharf Harbor
★★★★☆ 4.3
Tidewharf Harbor is comfort food in game form. You run a small harbour, schedule ships in and out, expand your docks and slowly turn a sleepy village into a busy port. There's no fail state to speak of, just a steady loop of small improvements that's oddly hard to put down.
The offline handling is spot on. Time passes only while you're playing, so you never feel punished for stepping away, and there's no daily-login pressure. We appreciated that a game like this respects the idea that people play in bursts.
It can get repetitive if you binge it, but taken in small doses it's a lovely thing to have on your phone. A good pick for winding down before bed.
